High School English
Strengthening Literacy, Confidence and Academic Achievement
English is the foundation of learning across every subject. Strong literacy skills enable students to read with understanding, write with clarity, think critically, and communicate effectively. Our qualified English teachers equip students with the tools they need for academic success throughout high school and into the senior years.
All lessons are aligned with the NSW English Syllabus, covering and extending beyond core outcomes in reading, comprehension, writing, speaking, listening, and exam preparation. Students who develop confidence in English often experience improved performance across all subjects and a noticeable increase in self‑esteem.
Program Highlights
Individualised English Programs
Each student receives a personalised learning plan targeting their specific needs - from strengthening foundational literacy to extending high‑achieving students. Programs cover reading, comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, analytical skills, and written expression.
One‑to‑One Tuition (Years 7–12)
Personalised lessons support students from general English through to Advanced and Extension levels. Our teachers are experienced in the full range of Stage 4, 5 and 6 English requirements and provide targeted instruction to build confidence and mastery.
